Give me them bright lights, long nights...

Here's something you should know about me. As long as there is good television, Monday nights will be sacred. They almost to always include sushi, a frozen dessert, and AEG. We sit on my couch and laugh for hours on end. Because by good television, I mean total crap that's fun to watch.

Let's recap tonight.

Gossip Girl:

As some of you know, I have read the entire GG series and am consistently more or less disappointed with the show. Tonight was no different. Will Blair and Chuck ever end up together? What will happen with Rufus and Lily? Will Nate ever say anything interesting and will Serena ever dress appropriately? I don't know and what's worse is I'm not even sure that I care. Does anyone else find themselves longing for ENTERTAINING male characters? Bring back Seth Cohen!

The Bachelor:

Let's pick up right where we left off. Viva la Jason! I think it's too soon to tell but clearly I love Melissa, the ex- Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader... because she's from Dallas, and, uh, she was a Cowboys Cheerleader. Other favorites include Lauren, Molly, Natalie, and Stephanie. Megan has got to go.

And can I get a Jeremy update? That boy is smokin'.

The City:

Whitney. I like you. If we met in real life, I'd probably adore you. But the show is just dull! I find myself missing LA and LC. Anyone? This show paints a bizarre picture of NYC. And what's with all the facial hair? Note to all future suitors: I'm not a fan. Shave. Your face. Please.

I haven't watched One Tree Hill yet; there is only so much a gal can accomplish in one evening. Brooke Davis is my hero. Did you know that Sophia Bush and I are sorority sisters in real life. Yep. That's right.

Who will get a rose? Where will Whitney eat next? What really happened bewteen Uncle Jack and Blair?

Thanks for the laughs, Monday night.

"Will Serena ever dress appropriately?" hahaa- doubtfully! Her boobs are pretty much characters of the show in their own right.
"Where will Whitney eat next?" Seriously! All this girl does is go out to eat and make wierd faces at the camera.
I love the War between Uptown and Downtown that the show tries to create.

1) Dear Universe: PLEASE bring back Seth Cohen in all of his emo, OC glory. You can keep Marissa & the others, but I want my boy back.

2) This Bachelor is such a snooze . .. I like Melissa de Dallas Cowboys, and that's about it. Jeremy would have been so much more entertaining to look at . . . er, watch.

My goodness, I am he same way! But my love for college basketball got in the way of Gossip Girl so I stuck with One Tree Hill and The City. Great episode of One Tree Hill!

I feel the same way about GG. I actually stopped watching because I was so fed up with how the show just can't compete with the books.

Oh, and The City! Crazy! I like how Whitney has lived in NYC for 2 seconds and is embroiled in stilted drama. Crazy.

However, when I move to NY in May, I am making it a point to try and see The City being filmed one day.

Whitney is not as full of personality as I'd like, but Olivia Palermo is cracking me UP! She totally wishes that show could be about her! It's not the most flattering portrait of her (eg: lecturing Whitney on what a social is), plus they always show shots of her making the weirdest faces.

I read all the GG books too and it is so hard for me not to compare them! I want Blair and Chuck to be together but I am worried things will get boring once they do. I really just watch for the fashion and music. Serena drives me nuts!
