Millionaire TAG?

I'm sure many of you savvy readers are familiar with the show "Millionaire Matchmaker" on Bravo. It's about an entrepreneur named Patti Stanger. She founded the Millionaire's Club, which is where "successful men come to meet their beautiful and intelligent wives or girlfriends". Patti had a party for her new book, "Become Your Own Matchmaker" last week in New York City.

Patti and my mom grew up together and have known one another since close to birth. We know the TV star as 'Cousin Patti'. My mom's mother and Patti's mother were the best of friends. Sadly, my grandmother has passed on but 'Aunt Rhoda' is still alive and well. She surprised us by not telling that she would also be attending the party. (She lives in Miami.) It was a very happy and welcome family reunion of sorts.

I know what you're thinking. Can you believe I've wasted this much of your time by going on and on about being single when I'm so closely connected to the most famous matchmaker in the country? Me either!

(We were too excited and chatty to pose for a nice photo.)

Congrats Cuz! I can't wait for Season Two.

(And yes, readers, I have the book and I'm reading it!)

That show is one of my Bravo reality TV guilty pleasures - what a fun connection! Tell her you need to family discount and get yourself a millionaire :)
