Because I suspect that my ensuing position will involve lots of snail mail (I will be communicating with sisters all over the country - not to mention Canada and England!) I decided to stock up on some sorority stationery. I have a drawer full of correspondence cards and of course, some of these are sorority specific. I am quickly running out as I often write to sisters, so I was delighted to find these at the Boatman Geller tent sale!

(Mine are blank, of course.)
These were an absolute STEAL at $15 for a box of 50. I was so delighted to find these for such a great price. I love fancy stationery at a fair price and I can always count on BG to deliver. Because, hey, I like to keep it classy but I am a 24-year-old writer living in New York City. I just paid seven bucks for a box of cereal. I'm doing the best I can over here.
Oh, I just love getting notes, how much fun! I just thought of you I'm doing an informative speech on Friday about the history of Lilly Pulitzer and am thrilled and do not care if the rest of my class wants to kill me! Any good tidbits about Lilly?
ReplyDeleteI was going to order two pack of notes from them but the shipping was twice as much as my order! I love their stuff but 12.00 for shipping is a little much. Thanks for the tip though!
ReplyDeleteLove the quality paper goods! $7 bucks for cereal ouch!
ReplyDeleteI love snail mail too. I love coming home to a hand-written letter or a package from a friend. I am like the hugest package person. And love your reference of your title to NKOTB.... xoxo
ReplyDeleteThose notecards are adorable!!! Miss you! We need to hang out!
ReplyDeletePurchase of the week, no doubt. Glad I could be your enabler. JEALOUS?
ReplyDeletea writer with a trust fund. I find it hard to be sympathetic. no offense of course.
ReplyDeleteAppending my comment from earlier: Thank you for being a true friend, and for talking the time to stop and write a letter. Many of my difficult days have been vastly improved by receiving a card from you. Modern culture allows us to dismiss these moments of kindness without any social repercussions. So thank you for being the friend who cares enough to keep these traditions and thus, generosity, alive.
ReplyDelete*taking the time
ReplyDelete(obviously, I would do better to take some extra time myself)
I love the subtle NKOTB reference!
ReplyDeleteI love any stationery! Those are adorable.
ReplyDeleteaccomplishment. (take away the S.)
ReplyDeleteI simply adore your site! --from your taste in stationery to your take on fashion! I just came across your site about a week ago and have been hooked ever since!
Thanks for being so fabulous! Oh, and I can't forget to congratulate you on your success, I'm sure no one could do it better!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind compliment!
ReplyDeleteAnd CJM, I find it positively uncanny that the last word in your first comment is the word JEALOUS with a question mark next to it. Priceless!
I love BG! I bought 3 packages of foldover notes last year and gave them as Christmas gifts to people. I split them into 10's and tied them with a pretty ribbon. Big hit on a tight budget :)
ReplyDeleteaww LOVE your kappa notes!! so effing cute and i looove finding subtle kappa references (i.e. the BG key, and vera bradley's night owl pattern, and so forth)!!
ReplyDeleteI love their stuff-I just got a nice order.
