Anyway, I have a cardinal shopping rule: if ever I see a great Little Black Dress on sale, I buy it. A girl can NEVER have too many LBD's. I have a number of them in my closet with the tags still on.
I recently ran to my beloved Filene's Basement to check out the Vineyard Vines selection and see if they had any cords in my size. They didn't, but they had an ample rack of recently discounted items that I tore through. I found a beautiful off-white winter dress that I thought would be perfect for me, but each one my hand landed on wasn't my number! I knew I struck gold when I found the same dress in black in my size!
I'm not sure when this dress is from but it retailed for $195 and I paid $34.98! It has a tonal print and a big black grosgrain bow. This photo doesn't do it justice, but if you click it and zoom in, you can make it out a bit better. Are you in love? I know I am.
I really should check out Filene's Basement more often!

ReplyDeleteI found the most precious VV critter cords at the Filene's Basement in DC!
ReplyDeleteOur local LP Signature shop also carries the VV line... makes for a VERY expensive one stop shop!

ReplyDeleteI totally love a black shift-style dress!
