I recently fell in love with the below headband at J. Crew, but didn't buy it for the following reasons:

1) I have a big head that most headbands don't fit well.
2) I don't look at headbands as an investment piece, and $18.50 for one is a bit steep in my mind.
I stopped in Forever 21 yesterday on a whim and found this lookalike for $3.80. The best part about it is that it fits incredibly comfortably, unlike it's pricy counterpart above.

Voila!
Some of you long-timers know that my little sister, the Baby Fashionista, used to write a blog somewhat similar to TZR, where she featured one basic item per post and showed it in different designs by a vary of designers. Her posts were funny and very personable - just like her. I'm happy to announce that she's back with a vengance - and a new blog! An Outfit A Day Keeps The Fashion Police Away chronicles her daily outfits, which are far more interesting than the ones I post on Twitter. Promise.

See?
Have a fashionable Thursday!
Any J.Crew headband that is made out of metal is uncomfortable! I love the plastic/tortoise ones but I can't wear the metal ones because they hurt so much...and I have a small head! Glad you could find a more comfortable option.
ReplyDeleteNice find with the cheaper headband.... and look how amazing you look in that blue dress!! xxxoo
ReplyDelete1. I left F21 the other day with like a sack of headbands for 10 bucks.
ReplyDelete2. P-Mo where is the gnome!?!
3. I'm overjoyed P is back and blogging!!!
I have a J. Crew headband from summer that is very similar and it is terribly uncomfortable. As much as I dislike Forever 21, their headbands are definitely worth it!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The Lulu looks fantastic on you! I just bought the rose one :)
ReplyDeleteNo offense to Baby Fashionista, but your choices are much more wearable for me. I love your style!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to find her email. I want them and then usually end up deleting and unsubscribing xoxo
