Remember that episode of Sex and the City? My poor baby sister just lost EVERYTHING. Apple gave her practically a new computer for free, but she lost her entire hard drive. Photos, iTunes, the whole shabang. So I'm here reminding you to BACK UP! You never know what may happen.
What a lovely Thursday night I'm enjoying. I had a great dinner with one of my good girlfriends. I'm watching my boy D. Wade take down the Cavaliers, I have laundry in the dryer, and I just ordered my holiday cards online. Have you gotten yours yet? I agonized for weeks over what to get, and I just now made a snap decision. That's how I'm wired. I think about it for a long time, and then I get it done quickly.
Hanukkah is in ONE MONTH from today, and you know what? I haven't even begun my shopping! To get into the spirit of the season, I'm going to do a JGIWC gift guide. If you have a product that you'd like me to include, feel free to email me!
This Hanukkah, I'm wishing for a Barnes & Noble Nook with a Kate Spade cover. Anything else would be gravy.

But a few things I highly recommend to your gift guide are:
Henri Bendel Vanilla Bean Liquid Hand Wash (you were right, totally worth it!)
and monogrammed book marks from Pottery Barn (so cute in real life)
oh, and I would really like to get into Cambridge ;) hehe so add that to my list.
I learned the hard way with my previous computer because I didn't back up either, so I am making sure I back up with my Mac. Clothes is all I can come up with now for my Christmas list.
I never used to back up but since starting a photography business I am aparanoid both about my client's stuff but also about my personal stuff so I backup constantly. I should take out shared in hard drives and CDR-Ws.
I would love a new Cartier ring - I just saw the one I want in an ad in UK Vogue - it's a simple gold or silver twist - I think I should wish for gold, but would be happy with silver......

your sis should have gotten an external hard drive.
it happened to me once too, i lost my itunes music but luckily i had a 60g ipod that i was able to plug in and get it all back.
