Happy Birthday to Me (and You!)

March 31 marks the two year birthday of my beloved blog. Since I leave for a weeklong vacation on Monday and will be celebrating on the high seas, I wanted to leave a little love behind for my readers.

I have been floored time and again by the unbelievable encouragement and support I've received from all of you. I figured that for this birthday, it would be appropriate for me to give a gift instead of the other way around. I will be giving away one Lilly Pulitzer Note Card Book in Dessert Tort and one Lilly Pulitzer Wink Eau De Parfum .

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment here telling me at least one of the following:

  • how you found JGIWC
  • your favorite JGIWC post
  • what you'd like to see in JGIWC in the future

I will not be blogging or Tweeting next week as I expect little to no BlackBerry reception on my adventure. I will draw a winner on Sunday, April 4. I wish all of you a very Happy Passover and/or Easter!

  5. Hey! I think I will answer two ;) just for fun...

I found you somehow the first day I discovered blogger...it was either through Sam's blog, or just yours alone in the search engine...but the both of you were the first blogs I ever read (and my favorites!)...

You have SO many favorite posts...but I think my favorite was for your 25th birthday. I knew how big of a deal it is, and how stressful it was, and I was so thrilled it turned out to be perfect for you. You deserved it...and not only did you get one party, but MANY :)

    I love you...have a great trip ;)

  39. hey love =)

I first found JGIWC, ironically, on the Metro North coming home from the city. I was googling advice on spray tanning and found your ye olde post on the subject. And what luck I had discovering the wonderful blog that is JGIWC. I have many favorite posts but I'd have to go with your recent favorite memories that your blog has brought to you. I thought it was sweet and made me happy for you! In the future, on JGIWC, I'd like to see more of everything you've ever blogged about. JGIWC couldn't be better. More blogging on classic prep fashion would make me a happy lady though.

    Love,
    Cairee

While I love all your posts, I think that "It's up to you, New York, New York" is one of my favorite!

Anytime you reflect on living in the best city in the world (and all the trial and tribulations that comes with it) I'm reminded of why I love this place so much (even though it does not always make sense to).

Also, all posts that include pictures are good. :)
