I'm so excited that it's March! I'm going to go ahead and set five goals for myself this month.
1. Read at least three books. I'd like to finish "Roses" (I've just barely started) and I can download "Sweet Little Lies" on my Nook tomorrow!
2. Treat myself. I have a Red Door Spa gift card in my wallet. I'd like to use it within the next few weeks. I don't like to hold onto gift cards for too long; I become paranoid that something will happen to it.
3. Treat others. I want to be more generous, starting today. I made a contribution to one of my favorite charitable organizations this morning!
4. Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I have a Met membership, but I just don't make it over there nearly enough.
5. Try something new. I'm just not sure what yet.
Happy Badge Day to all of my Panhellenic sisters! I hope you're all wearing your letters today with pride.
go get em!! do u like the nook? I heard good things about it, better than a kindle? xxoo
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you have heard of "Rabbit Rabbit." Most people I have talked to have never heard of the superstition, but I have been an avid rabbit rabbit-er since I was young. I'm glad you are spreading it around!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! My husband wants a Nook or one of the readers for his birthday - do you love it?
ReplyDeleteI like that! I should set monthly goals like that :) I'll post about that tomorrow!
ReplyDeletelove the met! just made it up to the cloisters the weekend before last- def worth the longgg trip.
ReplyDeleteMy mom always used to wake me up on the first day of the month and tell me to say "rabbit rabbit" before I could say anything else! I am so happy someone else knows this expression!
ReplyDeletehaha I appreciate your positive spin on badge day.. i was just sitting here (in my letters) absolutely dreading the thought of putting on business casual for tonight's event! hope you're having a good monday! love your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI like this idea...I guess I will have to set a goal to be a more active blogger now that I have come back to it!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice of you to want to be able to give more. I feel like lately everyone is so concerned with looking out for themselves being charitable has gone out the window. I've decided that this year for lent I will do more for others rather than give something up and I reall ylike the way it has made me feel so far.
Good for you, hope reach all your goals :)
You could try a half marathon this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask - did you get "Rabbit, Rabbit" from Nick Jr? Because I remember it from Nick Jr and still think it every 1st of the month - for the past 18 years!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Roses too! Can't put it down!
ReplyDeleteHappy Badge Day to you too!
ReplyDeleteBook suggestion for your goal: Shadow Divers...a true page turner.
ReplyDeleteLove the title of your Blog!
I told someone the other day that I want to visit more museums as well. It's good to better yourself. :o)
