Beantown lowdown

This past weekend, my family and I traveled to Boston. I hadn't been there in about 13 years and I admittedly forgot what a great city it is. I did a lot of shopping and likely gained five pounds... We ate very well! I had the best crab cakes of my life at The Palm, fab cupcakes at Sweet, and an incredible dinner at Sorellina.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting Kate Spade. I am seriously envious of the Junior League of Boston - for their headquarters are atop my favorite store! I'd be in serious debt if I got to stop at Kate each time I attended a meeting. How fun is this photo? Two of my most favorite things captured in one image!

We stumbled upon this adorable bakery on Newbury Street and had to stop in. I had a salted chocolate brownie cupcake and it was delicious. The icing got high marks from my parents and sisters!

We were there less than 48 hours but managed to see a lot of the town and pack a ton in. I had a ball and hope to return in the near future!

  1. Boston is a great city! I love living here :)

You live too close not to make it back. I've been meaning to take a trip down to NYC--don't know why I haven't yet.

Glad you had a good time. Sweet cupcakes are the best.
