Accomplishments: Joining Junior League. Winning an award for my membership contribution shortly thereafter. Getting the job. Getting promoted. Learning to look in a mirror and smile.
Decisions: Admitting that I can't do it all. Living in the moment. Rebuilding a bridge. Telling people how I really feel.
Moments: Walking into my surprise 25th birthday party. Getting the call that I got the job. One of my best friends asking me to be one of her bridesmaids. Giving my speech at Mom and Dad's 30th anniversary party.
Movies: The Good Guy, Social Network, and Wall Street II. Might be a coincedence that each film features a dreamy Jewish male lead... The Good Guy was wonderfully written and so spot on about dating in Manhattan; we all know about my infatuation with both Mark Zuckerburg and Jesse Eisenberg and this was just SO well done; the sequel to Wall Street was just indulgent enough and Shia LaBeouf looked impeccable in every scene and played the part to a tee. His Jacob Moore was, hands down, my favorite character of the year.
Presents: Louboutins, iPad, and everything Kate Spade.
Restaurants: BLT Prime.
Songs: All things Glee, Empire State of Mind by Jay Z and Alicia Keyes, Only Girl in the World by Rihanna.
Travels: Everywhere I went with Kappas (Arizona, Indiana, Florida, South Carolina) and everywhere I went with my family (Mexico, Miami).
Trend: Jewel toned hues, leather dresses and oversized sweaters.
TV Shows: Glee by a landslide. Entourage was terrible and I missed Curb dearly.
Words to live by: Life is short. Live it up.
Loved reading this! And I agree...Entourage was terrible
ReplyDeleteI found The Good Guy randomly one night on my Movies On Demand and loved it. Predictable yes but I love Bryan Greengerg! I think I might steal this list for my 2010 recap post, if you dont mind! :)
