I daydream of curling up in the Mrs. Godfrey chair with my iPad, laptop, Nook, or a book...

Sometimes, I'd kick my feet up on the needlepoint links footstool...

I first spotted a similar Moroccan pouf in a Lilly Pulitzer store years ago. I actually love to sit on the floor, and this is, literally, a step up.

I already own this elephant needlepoint pillow.

This Meurice side table in nickel would look perfect next to the chair.

Every room needs a great mirror. The Meurice mirror in nickel matches the table and both are so well priced!
I think I'd use my leftover money (around $400) for some fun tchotchkes like the love paperweight, an enamel frame or two, and the turtle box. I'd also incorporate my West Elm Parsons desk and my West Elm Overlapping-Squares side chairs as they will fit in seamlessly with the rest of the pieces (and I already own them!)
So, what do you think? Would you hang out in the TAG room?
I'm a huge JA fan as well and I've been lusting after a Moroccan pouf. Love what you've put together!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely hang out in the TAG room, I too am obsessed with JA-especially the elephant needlepoint pillow!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Moroccan poof, as well as the overall blue-and-blue theme you are planning. It's definitely inspired me to find those key elements missing in my apartment now.
ReplyDeleteLove that bright blue chair. It just looks happy!
ReplyDeleteI love the chair and the footstool! They are such great colors.
