The TAG Room

I talk sometimes of my newfound appreciation for interior design, my love of Jonathan Adler, and my desire to outfit my future home in his pieces. It has become increasingly apparent that this option is less than likely. So I have decided to compromise. My next apartment will have a TAG room (or TAG corner, if you will) that will be sprinkled with JA's genius. It will be light blue and dark blue, just like my current studio, and I will integrate it with pieces that I already own to really bring the small space to life. I've given myself a $3,000 budget for the sake of this post. Right now it's pretend, but someday it could be real!




I daydream of curling up in the Mrs. Godfrey chair with my iPad, laptop, Nook, or a book...




Sometimes, I'd kick my feet up on the needlepoint links footstool...




I first spotted a similar Moroccan pouf in a Lilly Pulitzer store years ago. I actually love to sit on the floor, and this is, literally, a step up.




I already own this elephant needlepoint pillow.




This Meurice side table in nickel would look perfect next to the chair.




Every room needs a great mirror. The Meurice mirror in nickel matches the table and both are so well priced!



I think I'd use my leftover money (around $400) for some fun tchotchkes like the love paperweight, an enamel frame or two, and the turtle box. I'd also incorporate my West Elm Parsons desk and my West Elm Overlapping-Squares side chairs as they will fit in seamlessly with the rest of the pieces (and I already own them!)
