Twenty-six candles

Today, I am 26.

I am reminded of a post I wrote last year about the things I learned when I turned 25.



So much has changed (all for the better) and I am in a very, very different place in my life than I was when I made this a year ago, but every single one of these idioms still rings true. This hangs on a big chalkboard in my kitchen and I often stop for a second or two to look at it and smile. I remind myself to stop and smell the roses, to take a deep breath, and to go the extra mile. And then I go on my merry way.

Thank you for the constant inspiration. I hope I give you back even a tenth of it.
