We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria. Our room redefined luxury with two bathrooms, two fireplaces, a full Viking kitchen, and a terrace, which is where I snapped this photo. Pretty spectacular, no?

This was my first time skiing and I absolutely, positively loved it. Here I am on the gondola ride before our last ski day.

Apres ski. I did 8 runs and didn't fall once!

The views were absolutely breathtaking (and very foreign to this Florida girl).
Here I am on Main Street!
Verdict: Park City is wonderful and I didn't want to leave. If you like snow/winter sports, you MUST go. Skiing is my new favorite sport and I'm already planning my next trip.
The photos are breathtaking! I see snow all the time, but it def doesn't look like that!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Park City! Such a cute little town. But I love Deer Valley even more b/c they don't allow snowboarders. If you can ever go to DV and stay at the Stein Eriksen Lodge, hightail it there ASAP. That hotel is the epitome of first-class luxury. It's unbelievable. And the slopes around there are gorgeous too. So glad you had such a wonderful trip!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had never been skiing before. People look at me like I have two heads when I tell them that I've never been skiing...now I will just refer them to this post.
ReplyDeleteWell done...when you posted earlier about the trip...did not realize it was your first time. It is a great activity that you can do with your partner nearly all your life...
ReplyDeletePost pictures of your accommodations. I have stayed there, and it is fabulous! You must share!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great trip! I've never been skiing but I would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteSo fun!! I was skiing in Colorado while you were in Utah. I'll have to get my pics posted soon. It's so gorgeous out west!
ReplyDeleteSaw your pics on FB, looks like someone had a divine time ;)
