Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2012

I attended Diane von Furstenberg's show over the weekend. It was my first time sitting in the audience during fashion week. From seeing mere rows behind Susan Sarandon to being directly across from Anna Wintour (who, less than five minutes after arriving, disappeared) it was quite the star studded event. Here are some of the best photos I took.

Logo over the runway.

Final model walk. There were so many amazing looks but it's a very difficult venue to photograph (unless you're a professional near the back!) so unfortunately, I don't have close ups of the clothes.

Models looping around the end of the runway.

The models looked so mad. If I got to walk the runway for anyone, let alone DVF, you couldn't pull the smile off my face!

Diane makes her entrance, handing out American flags to audience members. Very appropriate.

Diane hugging Valentino. Very cute.

Diane with her head designer, Yvan Mispelaere.

It was an amazing experience and I was honored to be among the crowd. God bless America and New York City!
