Last night, I attended the opening of the vineyard vines pop-up shop in Rothman's in NYC. Up until now, I have made most of my purchases either online or in retail stores outside of Manhattan. Nice to know there is now a purveyor of the whale within walking distance of The Shoebox.
It was such a cute little soiree. Loved the attention to detail and delicious little bites and sips being served by cater waiters in printed ties!
Whale straws and a printed koozie adorned a VERY strong pink drink.
AEG was my date. My dress and blazer are from last summer. Holy power suit!
It was like a convention of cute preppy boys.
No bar is complete without a foam whale hat.
The women's selection unfortunately did not include the one item AEG and I were both after: the Nautical Shep Shirt! I am told by an insider that it's selling like hotcakes... Better get my hands on one soon!
There are so many items right now that I adore... I'm not even sure where to begin! Think I'll treat myself in a few weeks once on vacation... I'm still lusting after that cover up!
Thank you to the kind folks at vineyard vines for always thinking of me. So glad I was able to swing by. Cheers to the whale finally swimming over to the Big Apple!
