So, a few days ago I received my quarterly "Thanks for shopping at J. Crew and for letting us drive you passenger seat to the poorhouse, here's your reward for using your J. Crew card" $25 gift card. I know. Big money! How am I going to spend all that dough, you ask?
Perfect shirt in mini-gingham... styled exactly as shown.
Zigzag sequin dress... FABULOUS. But not styled as shown. Loubs, please!
Collection cashmere long-sleeve tee... really into fuchsia for fall.
Biennial medium satchel... completely impractical in all the best ways.
Receipt pouch... have loved this for months, and it wouldn't even break the bank.
What do you think?

I can't with J Crew's styling.... STAND UP STRAIGHT and COMB YA DAMN HAIR. It's all so slouchy and yuck, which is so starkly contrasted by their absurd prices.
ReplyDelete(I too love the zigzag dress because I would be able to say "A ZIG A ZAG AHHH" a la Spice Girls every time I'd wear it)
Wait... that's a thing?! (The gift card) How did you get that?! Jealous! I'm so in love with that zig zag dress and bag. SO super cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the mini gingham and satchel, adorable!!
ReplyDeleteLove every single one of these choices, but I think the fuchsia tee is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteI work there! Call the call center sometime and maybe you'll get me! :)
ReplyDeletegreat choices! i don't understand their pricing at all, or the fit of a lot of their clothes - suuuuper long t shirts that aren't fitted in any way, at $68 at least. and the biggest jcrock = their bridal line. i have to wear one of their BM dresses next april, and i CANNOT. pretty color, but the fit looks good on *no one*. it's cut right under the boobs, not at the natural waist, so it makes everyone look wide/have no shape. and silk chiffon is just incredibly not flattering. not sure why everyone has been flocking to jcrew for weddings, but it's not a good trend.
