Weekend out west

This past weekend, I traveled to California to visit my Birthright BFF, Jules. We had the best time and I'm really sad it's over.

Wouldn't be me if we didn't start with a food photo! Crab cake grilled cheese. Will definitely be recreating this!

A fella (that's what Nana calls 'em) we met at Chateau Marmont suggested a place called Sweet Butter for breakfast. It was phenomenal! I am STILL dreaming about that latte.

Zuma Beach. Just stunning.

With my back to the ocean.

Me + J! We love our white jeans.

Artsy. Typical.

THE BEST grilled shrimp I've ever had in my life (and I'm from Florida!) at Malibu Seafood.

We stopped partying at Drai's at the W Hollywood just long enough for a bathroom break and pic! One of the bouncers pulled us out of the crowd and put us at a table with some other girls and a free bottle of champagne. Neither of us even really like champagne, but no complaints here!

We had afternoon tea at Gordon Ramsey's restaurant, Boxwood Cafe, at the London Hotel. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it. The food was great and the hotel is spectacular. Lately I'm in the market for design inspiration, so I snapped this little area right outside the restroom. Loved the gold.

Ladies who lunch.

J (+ A!) I miss you already. Thank you for being the best hosts and friends a gal could ask for!
