I embarked on a trip that changed my life.

My closest girlfriend from Birthright called me this morning, as she does every Friday morning. But today is different. It's the one year anniversary of our trip! We couldn't believe it all happened a year ago today.

this summer in California

It got me to thinking how much has changed in the past year. The best year of my life, but a very tough year for my beloved homeland.

Sending lots of love, good thoughts, and prayers to Israel in their time of need and thinking of all my fellow participants today.
