Things I learned this week
Much like making my lunch the night before, prepping my breakfast the night before is a godsend in the morning. For me, every moment before 8am counts twice as much as every moment after. Having everything ready to assemble makes AM life run so much smoother. This week that meant washing and slicing berries, tossing them in a bowl and covering with tinfoil overnight. Two minutes saved is two minutes earned at my dining table to actually sit and enjoy breakfast!
I could eat an entire carton of Ben & Jerry's Blueberry Vanilla Graham Greek Frozen Yogurt in one sitting. I haven't, but I could. And I may.
I may never be a culinary star or a great cook, but I can prepare and assemble and make tasty meals - some of which have decent nutritional value! I am having the best time playing around in my kitchen. No breakthroughs over here (yet) but it's fun and yummy in my house... isn't that what counts?
Vlogs are so much fun. I may even make one on my own soon!
When you're having a tough week, force yourself to go to your happy place. Whether it's mental or physical. I lost my way a bit these past few days, forgot that I am worthy and that I can succeed. Last night at the end of a very encouraging, praise-from-the-instructor filled ride at SoulCycle, I began to cry. Sometimes I do forget how far I've come, and I'm so thankful for the reminders.
What did you learn this week?
HAPPY WEEKEND!

I can totally relate to your tough week comment and needing for force myself to be positive. I recently read an article that helped me put things in perspective more (and actually made me tear up a little bit). If you have a minute I highly recommend reading it (or just read the letter written in italics. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Byrne-Identity-Ravens-Fans-E-Mail-Inspires-Team/c6349c49-ba16-4c00-88df-8eabf4bf14e6
