Love this--good to reflect on all the changes. It sounds like the best change is your attitude...its amazing what focusing on "hopeful" can do you for you. This city can be tough, especially in the love department, but living a life full of lots of friends, fun, and various other activities is 100% how you go about finding "the one". Chances are, he will see how fulfilled you are on your very own and how happy you are being you and doing what you do--that this is what will draw him to you first. I found that when I was too busy to even thinking about dating...BAM...haha. Keep that rosy outlook, my friend. You are fabulous and some boy out there is going to be lucky to find you!

Loved this post....loved that you took the time to think about all those things...I know that rarely take the time....life just flys by at the speed of lightning....and we don't take the time to assess our lives and the lessons that we have learned. I only lived in NYC for a year, but I also found I changed a lot (how long have you lived there?). I am SLOWLY reverting back to my old ways now I am home in Cali (like, I now get my nails toes done...). I totally agree with the quality over quantity FYI.
